Excelsior Foot and Ankle Center

Excelsior Orthopaedics' Foot and Ankle Center is the first of its kind in Western New York. Blending orthopaedics, podiatry, sports medicine and physical therapy, the Foot and Ankle Center provides comprehensive, highly individualized treatment for patients of all ages. Under the direction of Andrew C. Stoeckl, M.D. and John P. Hurley, D.P.M., the Center offers a treatment-team approach to common and complicated foot and ankle conditions.

The Center is supported by Excelsior's Physical and Occupational Therapy services, under the direction of Josette A. Fisher, P.T., A.T.C., CSCS.

The Foot and Ankle Center offers the following services:

• Comprehensive care of foot and foot related disorders
• Non-surgical treatment of athletic injuries and other foot disorders through biomechanical analysis and functional shoe inserts called orthotics
• Reconstructive foot surgery
• Diagnosis and treatment of work-related injuries
• Endoscopic heel surgery
• Physical therapy for the rehabilitation of foot and ankle disorders
• Biomechanical analysis and functional orthotic fabrication
• Shock-wave therapy for heel pain (ESWT)
