Accounts Payable Specialist
Accounts Payable Specialist, full-time.
Role responsible to receive, open, and log invoices, match packing slips, ensure accuracy of items invoiced compared to received, enter invoices into A/P system; work closely with accounting team to handle misc accounting-related projects; interact with other departments to obtain approvals and/or answer questions. HS/GED required plus 2+ years A/P experience required.

Appointment Scheduler, full-time.
Answer high-volume incoming calls to service a variety of patient requests, such as schedule appointment and update medical and demographic information; additionally, perform outbound calls to patients as needed for rescheduling. HS diploma or equivalency required; 1+ year customer service experience required; EMR experience preferred but not required.
Clinical Support Specialist/Scribe
Clinical Support Specialist/Scribe, full-time:
Role works closely and provides support to the physician or physician assistant; gathers information for and during the patient’s visit and documents in EMR; follows direction from physician and/or clinical operations manager. Role responsible for coding Evaluation & Management and Surgical Services (orthopaedic) procedures. Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate and precise; collaborate with billing Department to ensure all bills are satisfied in a timely manner; communicate discrepancies; contact physicians and/or other health care professionals with questions about treatments or diagnostic tests given to patients with regard to coding procedures. Minimum of 2 years coding required.

Assist physician/provider with clinical and administrative duties: greet patients, update medical records, complete paperwork as required, handle correspondence, schedule appointments. AAS degree with experience preferred; certification required. Some evenings and weekends are required.

Candidate must have 4+ years clinical experience in hand therapy; able to assess, plan, treat, and provide ongoing evaluation of the provision of care for a diverse hand/UE patient population. Experience with custom-made splints is a strong plus. OT or PT license with CHT certification required.

Provide care for patients during surgical procedures in brand new, state of the art, ambulatory surgery center. BS Nursing w/ 2+ years experience OR AAS Nursing w/ 5+ years experience required. Experience in an ambulatory surgery center setting preferred, Orthopedic experience preferred. No weekends or holidays, day shift, benefits.
Full time Physical Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team working in an out-patient setting. Functional therapy approach with strong manual skills preferred.

Physician Assistant, full-time:
Work closely and under direction of licensed physician specialized in all aspects of hand and upper extremity surgery, including shoulder and elbow arthroscopy, instability, trauma, and joint reconstruction. Perform exams, routine therapeutic procedures; review treatment plans, diagnostics and radiological services; order therapies, medications, and other services within established protocols or as directed by licensed physician. Perform first and/or second assist in surgery; perform minor surgical procedures. Preferred candidate will have 2+ years’ clinical experience working in an orthopaedic environment. Current NYS PA license required.
Surgery Scheduler Assistant
Surgery Scheduler Assistant, full time:
Initiates the insurance authorization process for patient's surgery. Utilizes automated tools, works with insurance carriers with regard to requirements. Retrieves and transcribes voicemails and returns phone calls for Surgery Schedulers as needed. Creates surgical packets, monitors patient portal messages, delivers mail and monitors surgery scheduling document intake as needed. Demonstrates compassion and customer service.
Surgical Technician @ Buffalo Surgery Center
Surgical Technician, full-time:
Assist surgeon at the sterile field by providing appropriate and adequate sterile instruments and other supplies during the operative procedure. Maintain the surgical field through aseptic practices; collaborate with OR staff to ensure availability and sterility of instrumentation. 2+ years experience and surgical technician certification required. DAY SHIFT, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS.
