Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) provides detailed pictures of the inside of your body without the use of x-ray radiation or invasive techniques. MRI is performed in a strong magnet with radio waves directed at the area of interest. Your body responds with its own radio signals that are processed by a computer and converted into images. The exam is painless, and there are no known harmful effects (such as radiation exposure) from the MRI scan.

If you need to have an MRI, you'll be glad to know that it can be done right here on the Excelsior Medical campus. It's a great convenience that saves you time and ensures that you'll get the test done when you need it.
