Physician Assistant

Beth Gillezeau is a physician assistant who supports Dr. Lanighan's practice, specializing in hand and wrist care. She believes that each patient needs to be the ultimate decision-maker in their own care, so she strives to cultivate a sense of mutual respect and understanding with each patient. Beth currently lives in the Southtowns with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and tries to spend as much time as she can keeping busy with outdoor activities through all of the seasons - especially at the lakeside.

She believes that it can be easy to take the beauty of Lake Erie for granted, especially when you spend most of your life so close to it, so she makes sure to appreciate the time that her family gets to spend by the Lake.

What is your approach to patient care?

My approach to patient care is to treat every patient in a way that I would want to be treated. I try to be engaged and demonstrate interest at the appointment by listening to their concerns, gathering the facts, and trying to truly understand the issue at hand. I try to describe things in a way patients can understand, and make sure they are comfortable with everything through every step of the evaluation and assessment.

Education
