Athletic Trainer, Clinical Operations Team

Athletic Trainer, full-time


In-house Athletic Trainer to support the clinical functions in our large orthopaedic office setting.  Position responsible to support physicians, room patients, update medications and subjective complaints; may assist in minor medical procedures. Athletic Training NYS certification required; 2+ years experience in educational or clinical setting preferred.  Competitive pay and full benefits package including vacation and 401k. NO HOLIDAYS, EVENINGS, OR WEEKENDS.

Athletic Trainer, Outreach

Full-time position assigned to a local area high school to provide on- and off-field support to athletics program.  Perform a variety of duties including evaluation, education, treatment, care, and rehabilitation of patients with athletic sports-related or orthopedic injuries/conditions.  While in off-season, position also supports Excelsior Rehabilitation Clinic delivering services to athletes as well as in-house patients.  BS in Athletic Training required.

Billing Specialist-Excelsior Orthopaedics Location

Medical Billing Specialist, Excelsior Orthopaedics Location. Due to corporate growth, we are adding an exciting opportunity to join the team. Position responsible for adding charges into billing system, generate insurance claims and patient statements. Ability to post payments, follow up on charges and answer all inquiries on accounts. Workers Comp experience preferred; HS Diploma and 1-2 years billing experience required.

Billing Team Supervisor -Acounts Receivable Team

Due to our growth, we have added a newly created full-time position to report to department director; working lead to handle and oversee a team managing accounts receivable (all insurances) and associated correspondence; team also to handle denials and unapplied payments; role will require lead to answer job-specific questions, run applicable reports and analyze data for decision-making, handle and update employee dashboard to hold team accountable to metrics; candidate must have hands-on work experience in all areas; project management and supervisory experience preferred. Billing Team Supervisor-Coding/Charge Entry Team

Coder, Full-Time

Role responsible for but not limited to coding orthopaedic services; collaborate with Billing Department to ensure all bills are processed timely; communicate discrepancies; interact regularly with providers. Minimum of 2 years coding required, evaluation and management, surgical, or podiatry coding experience helpful.

 

GI PACU Nurse, Per Diem

Provide direct patient care and other nursing services to patients following ambulatory surgical procedures in the PACU area.  Duties to include assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation; complete associated paperwork.  BS Nursing w/ 2+ years experience OR AAS Nursing w/ 5+ years experience required.  Experience in an ambulatory surgery center setting preferred.

 

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Full Time

 

Duties include patient care to support the efficient and effective operations of our fast-pace orthopaedic practice. Position responsible to prepare patients for the provider, perform clinical duties such as application and removal of casts, splints, braces; removal of sutures, wound care. The position will support the physician with both clinical and administrative duties. LPN License required plus min 1 year experience in a health care facility/medical office. Orthopaedic experience a plus. Monday-Friday, occasional evenings and Saturdays.

 

 

 

 

Medical Assistant

Assist physician/provider with clinical and administrative duties: greet patients, update medical records, complete paperwork as required, handle correspondence, schedule appointments. AAS degree with experience preferred; certification required. Some evenings and weekends are required.

Ortho PACU Nurse, per diem or part-time

Provide direct patient care and other nursing services to patients following ambulatory orthopedic surgical procedures in the PACU area.  Duties to include assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.  Responsible to assess and maintain adequate ventilation, homeostasis, and circulation; assess level of consciousness, provide pain management, and ensure safety of the patient until discharge.   BS Nursing with 2+ years experience in surgical setting preferred or AAS Nursing with 5+ years experience in surgical setting.  DAY SHIFT, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS.

Patient Service Representative-Amherst, NY

Patient Service Representative, Amherst, Full-Time.

Perform a wide variety of duties related to reception and registration; obtain demographic, insurance, and payment information; may explain insurance eligibility criteria and coverage to patient.  Experience with HealthEnet and MEDENT desired--1+ years experience in medical office preferred; high school diploma required. Some possible evenings required.

Physician Assistant in Excelsior Express Urgent Care, part time or full time

We are expanding!! Join our team of orthopedic and sports medicine experts to work in our Amherst, Orchard Park, and/or Niagara Falls, NY, urgent care facility providing services to adult and pediatric patients with orthopedic-related injuries.  Candidate must be proficient in making experienced decisions diagnosing and treating a variety of upper and lower extremity injuries.  Express offers on-site x-ray, MRI, casting, and DME in order for the patient to receive a full-service experience.  Candidate must have 2+ years’ experience working in an urgent care/fast-paced setting with a focus on treating orthopedic-related injuries.  Must be available to work evenings and rotating Saturday afternoons. Current NYS PA license required.
