Physician Assistant
Mark Orlowski is a physician assistant in Dr. Callahan’s practice, specializing in hand and wrist care. He’s a family man, with three daughters and a son. Prior to his position at Excelsior, he was a USAF Lieutenant Colonel, serving as a B-52 navigator, radar navigator and instructor. and US Selective Service System district manager. He also served as a PA in his final seven years in the Air Force. He is now a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Snyder Fire Department. His favorite movies are Blazing Saddles and Dr. Strangelove.
What drew you to becoming a PA?
“I always wished to pursue a medical career, but with a family of 5 at the time, I didn’t think I’d be able to work and go to medical school. Instead, I was an EMT for 15 years before finally going to PA school.”
