About Dr. Swinarski
Dr. Swinarski is a board certified, fellowship-trained physician in physiatry. He strongly believes that when it comes to back and spine health, going back to the basics is the key to long-term wellness. It’s why his focus is on holistic treatment and rehabilitation, and rebuilding a strong foundation after injury to help patients meet their own goals for recovery.
Dr. Swinarski knows that listening to his patients is the first step to treating them, and encouraging them along their healing journey is an important aspect of his practice. His training is varied, including massage therapy, chiropractic, and pursuing a DO, and this allows him to see and assess the body from many perspectives.
When he’s not working, Dr. Swinarski enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. As one of seven children himself, getting his extended family together is one of his favorite ways to spend a weekend. Born and raised right here in Western New York, you can count on him to be cheering for the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, or finding an activity that lets him stay active and get outdoors.
What would you do if you were not a doctor?
“If I was not a doctor, I would want to do something where I was still helping people. I always enjoy being part of the community and helping others - there’s a satisfaction that you get from helping others and seeing them improve and grow.”
What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
”My favorite TV show is Ted Lasso. It’s just one of those feel-good shows that if you’re kind of down, you can watch it and it picks you back up.”
