Excelsior Orthopaedics Opens New Physical & Occupational Therapy Center in East Amherst
Excelsior Orthopaedics has opened a new physical and occupational therapy center in its East Amherst office, which is located at 8750 Transit Road, Suite 105.
The new facility offers comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients of all ages who are either recovering from an orthopaedic surgical procedure or pursuing therapy as an alternative to surgery. It will augment the physical and occupational therapy services that Excelsior Orthopaedics has provided for more than 15 years at its medical campus on Sheridan Drive in Amherst, and at its offices in Orchard Park and Niagara Falls.
“One of the things that sets us apart from other local providers is the fact that at Excelsior, our physicians and therapists work in close collaboration to design and implement a highly customized treatment plan for each patient, taking into consideration any current conditions, but also all other relevant medical considerations,” said Dr. Peter Gambacorta. “That’s made possible by the fact that we’re all working under one roof, so it’s easy for our physicians and therapists to consult with each other on a daily basis.”
The new Excelsior physical and occupational therapy center is a 5,000 square-foot facility that includes state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment. The Transit Road “PT/OT” team will be led by Nikole Scott, a senior member of the Excelsior Orthoapedics physical and occupational therapy group for the last 15 years, and Tim Naab, also a seasoned member of the Excelsior team

The new Excelsior Orthopaedics physical and occupational therapy center at 8750 Transit Road in East Amherst opened on Monday, January 20, 2020. Its initial hours of operation will be:
Mondays & Wednesdays: 10:30 am – 7:00 pm
Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
