Excelsior Orthopaedics opens podiatry office in Amherst
AMHERST, N.Y. – As the demand for orthopaedic care grows, so too does Excelsior Orthopaedics. This summer, Excelsior Orthopaedics opened Excelsior Orthopaedics Podiatry – our first stand-alone podiatry location in Western New York.
The new office at 4020 Sheridan Drive in Amherst is conveniently across the street from the Excelsior Orthopaedics medical campus headquarters where it affords our podiatrists a brand-new space to provide their patients top-tier foot care in a spacious, more intimate setting.
The 4,800 square foot clinical office has 11 exam rooms, an x-ray machine, and Durable Medical Equipment dispensing. This new space opened to patients on July 5 of this year, and we formally celebrated its grand opening on September 13, 2022.
The podiatrists of Excelsior now practicing at 4020 Sheridan Drive include Dr. John Hurley, Dr. Chris Keating, Dr. Dan Keating, Dr. Sean Keating, and Dr. Jude Violante.
“Excelsior delivers exceptional patient experiences by building teams of world class doctors and creating state-of-the-art facilities. Our new Podiatry clinic will provide new levels of comfort, convenience, and access to patients suffering from foot and ankle pain,” said David Uba, CEO. “We are very excited to introduce our new office to the community.”
“We are thrilled that Excelsior Orthopaedics’ continues expanding its footprint in the town of Amherst by building its new podiatry center across the street from one of its other patient facilities. Excelsior Orthopaedics maintains its first-in-class reputation with this new state-of-the-art facility that will provide a better patient experience that will serve our community well for years to come,” said A.J. Baynes, president of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce.
Excelsior Orthopaedics is proud to have taken this next step in our commitment to raising the bar of orthopaedic care in Western New York, and it is even more meaningful to have done so during our 20th anniversary year of serving the community.
