Excelsior Orthopaedics opens second Southtowns facility

EXCELSIOR ORTHOPAEDICS OPENS NEW PHYSICAL THERAPY FACILITY IN ORCHARD PARK
Second Orchard Park location will serve more Southtowns patients

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – With quick access to 219 and Southwestern Boulevard, Excelsior Orthopaedics’ newest physical therapy facility is now open.The state-of-the-art facility on South Benzing Road is a Southtowns extension of and less than two miles away from Excelsior’s larger orthopaedic practice on Redtail Road in Orchard Park.

To help meet the increasing demand for orthopaedic care, patients can now receive physical therapy at the new South Benzing Road location Mondays through Thursdays. This will help Excelsior Orthopaedics and its patients while plans to expand the Redtail Road campus are being developed.

The South Benzing Road team is led by Jamie Whitenight, PT, DPT, a trusted therapist who has been with the company for 13 years and has been primarily based in Orchard Park. Jamie is involved in community fitness and is a certified provider of Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM). Joining her is Nicholas Ruschmann, MSPT, an established therapist in Western New York with 20 years of experience who joined Excelsior Orthopaedics last year. Nicholas is also a credentialed American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) clinical instructor.

“Essentially, this will be an extension of our existing location, increasing space for greater comfort of our patients, and increasing accessibility of appointments,” said Alanna Pokorski, the Director of Physical and Occupational Therapy at Excelsior Orthopaedics.
