Excelsior Orthopaedics releases 2022 Patient Education Seminar schedule
AMHERST, N.Y. – Excelsior Orthopaedics is pleased to release its 2022 patient education seminar schedule, which includes a return to in-person events.
Our patient education seminars, which are free of charge, have successfully connected countless people to our surgeons, where each registrant can ask a real-time question to our doctors. Patients also hear from a physical therapist and a dietitian, who are integral to successful patient outcomes.
This year’s schedule will kick off on March 9 with Dr. David Pula, who will deliver a seminar on knee pain and knee replacement. Classes will run through November. In April, Excelsior Orthopaedics will welcome back patients to its first on-campus, in-person seminar since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Kory Reed will host the shoulder pain lecture at our Sheridan Drive physical therapy gym. Stay tuned; we are looking to schedule one more in-person seminar this year. The rest of the schedule is virtual, allowing those interested in learning about joint pain management and joint replacement options to do so from the comfort of their homes.
New this year, our nutrition team will also host a patient education seminar to discuss weight management, surgical preparation, inflammation and more. Our team of four registered dietitians not only work with patients who require joint replacement surgery, but also with patients seeking guidance on general weight management, diabetes care, nutrition during pregnancy, managing chronic conditions, and more.
We hope to see you at one of our eight seminars this year. Click here to view our schedule and register.
