Physician Assistant
Cori Zaccagnino is a physician assistant who supports the practices of Dr. Douglas, Dr. Gambacorta and Dr. Zinno, all of whom specialize in sports medicine. She was drawn to become a physician assistant because of the flexibility in specialties, and believes that it is a career path that allows her to maintain a family life, which is of the utmost importance to her. When Cori is in the room with patients, she never wants them to feel rushed, and wants them to be comfortable asking her any question they would ask the doctor. Along with her work as a physician assistant, Cori is also a certified athletic trainer.
What is your approach to patient care?
Always do what is best for the patient. No matter what. Even if it takes more time, or costs more, the patient comes first.
