Physician Assistant
Laurie Kotowski is a physician assistant who treats patients of Dr. Violante. As a PA, Laurie tries to approach every patient as if she is treating a family member or close friend. She also places a lot of value in the team approach of medicine and keeps an open line of communication to her supporting physician and team members to help patients achieve their care goals.
Outside of work, Laurie and her husband Adam and have 4 children: three sons and one daughter. Laurie enjoys traveling to new places, spending time outdoors playing sports, swimming or gardening, coaching her kids’ sports teams, spending time with family, and baking.
What drew you to become a PA?
From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in medicine. Being a PA has allowed me to practice medicine and still have a healthy work/life balance. I have practiced in the fields of Sports Medicine and Orthopedics for my entire professional career, but I also try to stay up to date in general medicine as well. I love the team approach to treating patients.
