Renowned Spine Surgeon Dr. Kenneth Hood Joins the Excelsior Orthopaedics Team
Dr. Kenneth Hood, a nationally renowned spine surgeon who specializes in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of chronic conditions and injuries of the spine, has joined Excelsior Orthopaedics.
Board certified and fellowship trained, Dr. Hood is among the nation’s leaders in robotic assisted, minimally invasive spine surgery, using the most advanced tools and techniques which are revolutionizing the treatment of even the most complex spinal conditions. He is proud to bring these cutting-edge, life-changing spine treatment options to patients in Western New York who are struggling with often debilitating pain and loss of mobility.

A native of Kenmore, he is returning home to Western New York with his wife and children after spending the last 10 years in practice in Arizona.
Dr. Hood is a graduate of the University of Rochester and earned his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley, CA, and his Spine Surgery Fellowship at the University of California in San Diego.
